I didn't realize just how great Mother's Day is until I became a mother. Dan made an extraordinary Mother's Day Brunch that we shared with the family. On menu was Baked French Toast with Blueberries, home fries, toasted baget w/ tomato, fruit, Prosecco, and delicious coffee. I'm so lucky that my husband loves to cook, and is quite good at it too. We spent the rest of the afternoon going to the Artisian Fair at Jenkins Estate to bug Shuana and watching the NBA Play-offs (both teams we were rooting against pulled off the W's).
Dan and Aud gave me a beautiful, handmade necklace to celebrate the day (which may look familiar from a Flood Watch post a few weeks back). Thanks Dan and Audrey! Being a mom is pretty cool :)
